Safeguarding training

North Tyneside Safeguarding Adults Board oversee the implementation and delivery of a Safeguarding Adults Training programme within the borough. The programme is delivered by a range of professionals using endorsed training packages. North Tyneside Council currently deliver Safeguarding Adults Training to all sectors including the public, private and independent sector.

North Tyneside Safeguarding Adults Board is pleased to launch its revised Multi-Agency Learning and Development Offer for 2026–27.

You will notice a refreshed approach to our learning programme, including a clearer tiered training pathway, an expanded programme of monthly themed learning sessions (Safeguarding: Keeping Us Connected), strengthened Safeguarding Adults Review learning, and updated specialist training opportunities for partners across all sectors. Booking Courses

New Learning Management System – Launched 1st July 2026

We have also introduced a new online booking and learning platform from 1st July 2026, replacing the Learning Pool system.

The new system, The Learning System, will provide a more modern and user-friendly experience, making it easier to:

• Find and book learning opportunities

• Understand learning requirements

• View and manage your learning record in one place

What this means for you

• Existing users of the Learning Pool system will receive emails with details of how to access their account, including login and password guidance

• All existing learning records will be transferred across to the new system
